Go Green starts by understanding these three words! REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE.

Go Green starts by understanding these three words! REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE.

REDUCE.  REUSE.  RECYCLE.
REDUCE
  • Reduce the amount of junk mail by getting off mailing lists.
  • Sign up for Online Bill Pay and Paperless bills and statements
  • Scan photos and mementos to disc
 REUSE

  • Use what you already have.  The one question I always get asked before working with a client is, “What should I buy before you get here?”  My answer is always the same, “NOTHING!”  Most people have already gone out and purchased more than they need.  90% of the time I am able to utilize what a client has and very rarely do I have them go out and purchase additional items.
  • Donate items to a local charity or someone else in need.  As part of our service, we take donations to a local charity, The Mustard Seed, and then send you a receipt.
  • Drop off old magazines to a local bookstore, school, hair salon, nursing home or doctor’s office
  • Utilize an online service to put your items in the right hands.  These services include eBay, Craig’s List and Free Cycle.  Our organizers can help you determine the right avenue to get rid of your item and can even help with the process.
RECYCLE
  •  Find out about the recyclying policy in your area.  Before setting up a recycling center in your home, consider the following:  what materials does my area accept; what do I collect at home that can be recycled; how much room do I have; how much money do I want to spend.
  • Take hangers back to dry cleaners
  • Get the whole family involved by making it easy and convenient
Nation-wide demolition services.
